For students of the Master programs (MBA/MSc) accreditation regulations require that 20% of the program needs to be taken as colloquium (in-class-seminar) in order to support social interaction and group dynamics. This 20% requirement translates into 20 days (min. 150 hours) of colloquia.
A colloquium is an academic seminar for advanced students led and moderated by different lecturers on various topics of a specific field of study to consolidate and reflect the subjects learned in previous online-seminars.
Colloquia are offered on a regular basis in blocks of 5 days by Educatis University at our premises in Altdorf, Switzerland or by our international partner institutions.
(A minimum of 12 participants is required to conduct a colloquium.) Colloquia are indicated as COxxx in the seminar overview.

For students residing in countries where Educatis University does not have a partnership with an academic institution yet and students can not afford to physically attend one of the conventional colloquia, Educatis offers online-colloquia.
In an online-colloquium a group of students prepare and discuss different topics based on research documents and case studies under the supervision of a tutor during online conference-sessions via the Internet. Two thirds of the colloquium is done as individual homework and one third of the time are done in online conference-sessions within eCampus and SKYPE. Online-colloquia are indicated as OCXXX in the seminar overview.
Students of the Certificate program and single seminar students can participate voluntarily at an increased rate as indicated.
