In Switzerland the accreditation of universities is the responsibility of the cantons of Switzerland. The relevant canton for Educatis is its canton of residence, the Canton of Uri, one of the three founding cantons of the confederation of Switzerland.
In accordance with the legal regulations for accreditation of higher educational institutions, the Educational Council the Canton Uri accredited Educatis on 1 October 2003 until 31 October 2016. This entitles Educatis University to confer the following academic titles: Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Science (MSc), Doctor of Business Administration (Dr. oec.DBA) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).

Quality Management at Educatis
Educatis University introduced a Quality system based on the rules and regulations of ISO 9001 2000. The system ensures highest quality throughout the University.
The QS system defines the organisation and management procedures in every detail which are reviewed and adjusted by the Quality Review Board in 6 monthly intervals.
With Jean-Daniel Sieber Educatis has appointed a Chief of Quality Management who is most experienced in the implementation of Quality systems based on ISO 9001 in various industries.
The MBA of the EGSM Educatis Graduate School of Management is accredited by FIBAAFoundation for International Business Administration Accreditation, one of the leading European accreditation agencies.
